Do horses float?

Oh bollocks....

We're at "Flood Watch" at the moment but the fun and games is all meant to kick off around 5ish. We're all packed up and ready to go and if we need to we'll ride and lead the horses out.

Do horses float?

Nope. Horse with an outboard motor - bad idea.

Turns out we didn't need to float after all. Great Yarmouth got a bit damp but then they are used to it.

no but they swim, pony might be a bit of problem, how heavy is the missus?
Just hang on for the ride while pointing them in the right direction, stay OFF of their head and kick, great fun.
Glad nobody is floating what a pain, hope all are safe, take good care!

Mrs Dracunculus does not ride but I guess we could fit Ebony's trap with flotation devices and make it into a one pony-powered boat.

We used to take the horses swimming when I stayed in Ireland... great fun and they seemed to like it.
