Wishes sometimes come true

From a blog post made last May on the subject of a certain Mr Murat, resident of a certain town in Portugal:

I really, really hope that he is as innocent as a day-old lamb and that he sues Ms Campbell and her tawdry hack rag every which way to Christmas and back.

From today's BBC news website:

Expat Robert Murat has settled a claim for damages over allegations in 11 UK newspapers that he was involved in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

Looks like a paedo to me!

You know if you asked just about anyone in the western world to draw what they thought a paedophile would look like I bet 99.9% of them would come up with something that looks pretty much like this.

About all that's missing is him wielding an axe and having a swastika tattooed on his forehead.

Clarence Mitchell, hired gobsite for the McCanns said:
"We want to know who he is and we want to know where he is. We want to know that as soon as we can."

OK let me see if I can give you a hand here. He is a figment of some deluded twat's imagination and he is located somewhere in the collection of neurons and ganglia laughably called a "brain" which is at present somewhere in the region of your anus. Is that soon enough for you, you fuckstain.

With the best will in the world some dippy old bint has seen some local down-and-out / con artist and concocted a picture based on a memory that is a good nine months old. Hells donkeys the police say that can barely get anything credible from eye-witnesses to actual crimes when they get to people nine hours afterwards and in any court of law there has got to be way more than eyewitness testimony to get a safe conviction because the police and courts are only too well aware of the unreliability of eye witnesses. And remember no-one apart from, conveniently, one of the McCanns' drinking buddies saw anyone "carrying" a child on the night her parents killed her Madeleine disappeared.

This is just another classic example of the McCann distraction bandwagon and it makes me want to puke. Unfortunately El Ploddo in Portugal made such a complete horlicks of the initial investigation that the chances of proving anything short of a body turning up are on a par with your green scaly friend being elected the next pope, so regrettably we are going to have to put up with these ghastly excuses for humans crawling out of the woodwork every few months with some latest Maddy "exclusive" bullshit.

Gits, the lot of them.

Pirate this movie

Well now here's a motherfucking surprise...

Representatives of Madeleine McCann's family have spoken to an entertainment and media company about turning the story of her disappearance into a film.

I was wondering when the money grabbing scrotes that are the McCanns were going to see if they could get a film deal. I did kind of expect them to have the decency to wait a year or so before really going for the big bucks but I forgot, they don't have any.

Talks on a lucrative film deal were held amid concern the £1.2m fund dedicated to finding the four-year-old, who vanished in Portugal last May, is rapidly running out.

Yes, it's running out because even the most dippy grandmothers in the land who are normally the types who contribute to these kinds of appeals have worked out that there's not something a little bit fishy about the McCanns and their role in their daughter's "disappearance" but the piscene component rather approaches that of the entire Portuguese sea-going cod fleet in terms of fishyness. That mortgage on the new 5 bed detached pad isn't going to pay itself you know.

If this movie does does get made please can everyone pirate it to hell and back so that no-one pays a single penny piece to see it. Alternatively we could literally pirate the movie, don eye patches, start saying "Yarrrr... shiver me timbers" and make it walk the plank along with Kate and Jerry.

And you thought I didn't like the McCanns

I hope Kate McCann is hounded into a successful suicide attempt before the end of the year. Amongst the most cold, calculated, selfish, self serving, unrepentant and loathsome examples of womanhood to cross my radar in many years- and she's an effin' scot to boot.

I hope she is spat upon, derided and aliented at every turn. An example of the worst that modern britain produces

Go read the lot... http://www.grumpieroldmen.co.uk/forum/phpBB210/viewtopic.php?t=18281&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

So sue me

Well it would appear that the ghastly McCanns are going to sue a Portuguese red-top for libel after it claimed that the police believed them to be in some way responsible for Madeleine's death, possibly from an "accidental" sedative overdose.

Well all those grannies who gave their old age pensions can have the warm feeling inside that as well as funding the McCann's jet-set lifestyle and extended Portuguese holiday that they are now lining the pockets of the Portuguese versions of m' learned friends Sue, Grabbit and Runne.

Trouble is for the McCanns is that they now have to go into open court and argue their case that the remarks are libellous, this isn't like a criminal court where they have nothing to prove and the prosecution have to do the proving, here they have to prove they were libelled and you can bet that the newspaper's lawyers will be putting up a robust defence and asking some very, very pointed questions which they might find somewhat awkward to answer.

This is going to get interesting.

In the meantime, wonder what sort of mental state their other 2 kids are in?

Suspect

Madeleine McCann's parents have called on police to tell them about evidence that reportedly contradicts the belief that their daughter was abducted.
...
In a BBC interview, Mr McCann acknowledged that there appeared to be a shift in detectives' thinking running contrary to what he and his wife had always been told.

"I had a fairly strong belief that there was a lack of evidence, certainly initially, that there was no evidence of serious harm and I do not know of any specific evidence now that alters that. I think, as parents, if there is evidence then we need to know about it."

Last I looked it was not normal police procedure to discuss detailed evidence with a suspect.

That's why they're not telling you.

You know those people who are trying to get you to leave Portugal. I would if I were you; preferably to somewhere that Portugal doesn't have an extradition treaty with.

McCanns - Close but no cigar

Did I mention that I can't fucking stand the bloody McCanns? Yes I think I did. Not content with screwing their own lives up and being culpable in the death of their kid (let's face it people, that kid isn't going to get found) thier constant harping and whining is leading to the ruination of some other poor bugger's life.

You can bet your life that the reason el ploddo portuges have been digging up this guy's garden, after previously detained and questioned him for days, drained his swimming pool, confiscated his computers and generally made his life a living hell is because they are shit scared of being seen to be "not doing anything" by the media which is constantly being prodded and poked like an angry tiger by the fucking McCann tribe.

Publicly the police have not commented on the results of the weekend search but the BBC understands it revealed nothing to link Mr Murat to Madeleine. Over the weekend British and Portuguese detectives scoured the property using hi-tech scanning equipment and a British sniffer dog.

Why are our plod getting involved here in an operation on Portuguese territory? And just how much does it cost to fly sniffer dog, handler and a 10kg bag of doggie-bix over? Do the Portuguese not have dogs then? And all this expense, paid for my me and you remember, revealed nothing. Look they have been through this guy's life with the finest of fine tooth combs and a range of equipment that would give the people in CSI stiffies just to think about it. You're not going to find anything, there's nothing to find. Even if they did find the tiniest fragment of forensic "evidence" what chance does he have of anything approaching a fair trial; we'd be looking at another Barry George case here.

Still, the McCann's have almost got themselves a Madelene's Law, they missed a bit so what they have ended up with is a "Code Madelene". Close but no cigar guys!

The McCanns have backed a scheme aimed at letting parents and staff know what steps to take as soon as a child goes missing on holiday.

Let me guess; it starts "Get yourself a really good press agent, get your fizzog on the idiot box and then sit back and whoop it up on the luxury lifestyle as you get free accomodation, little old ladies sending you money and trips round the world on some tycoon's private jet."

May your humble dragon suggest a text for a future Madelene's law? It goes like this:

"If you leave your 4 year old kid unattended whilst you and your mates go out and get pissed at a tapas bar and your kid goes missing you are guilty of the offence of child abandonment and are to be fed to a pool full of hungry mako sharks an inch at a time."

About time too

An online petition is calling for the McCanns to be investigated over the disappearance of their rugrat. What is pathetic is that it takes someone organising an online petition before someone will actually do anything but at least the questions are starting to be asked.

On their return to the Algarve on Tuesday from Morocco, Gerry and Kate McCann of Rothley, Leicestershire, say they will have a period of reflection before deciding on their next step.

Remember what I said about the media turning on you? Well it's starting to happen so my recommendation is that after you have your "period of reflection" you quietly drop off the radar and skulk back to England with your tails firmly between your legs.

You might also consider going back to doing the jobs for which you have been paid out of my taxes.

McCanns on Tour

Well if you have a nice Gulfstream at your disposal it would be a shame not to use it.

Apparently they are on Crimewatch tonight to make an appeal to those people who won't report a crime until that nice Nick Ross has spoken about it on the telly. Here's a still from the programme...

They are not stupid though and if you look a little closer at that t-shirt they've found a good marketing opportunity...

Bargain at only £39.99 plus vat, available in small, medium, large, extra-large, humongous and Kate-McCann's-ability-to-believe-in-miracles sizes.

I notice that the rot has started to set in. The German media, always among the first to call a spade ein spaten have started to ask the question that has been niggling away at the back of a lot of people's minds. Methinks the McCanns are about to find out that the press are interested in one thing alone and that is shifiting units and if they can shift a few more by now making you the bad guys then that's what they'll do.

Can't wait.

Souvenir "I went to Portugal and all I lost was my kid" baseball cap anyone?

It's like rain, on your wedding day

"Isn't it ironic, don't you think?"

That the parents of a child how has been abducted possibly by a paedophile are looking forward to a private audience with the leader of an organisation which has active paedophiles in its ranks and which has and continues to cover up and protect child abuse and the abusers.

Oh and I was bloody right in my last post about the fucking Gulfstream jet as well!!

Retail tycoon Mr Green, who owns Top Shop, had offered the couple his 12-seater Gulfstream jet after hearing about the abduction.

News from the future.

Dragons, being of a somewhat magical nature, occasionally experience timeslips when flying about and I had one a day or two ago. Unfortunately for you (and me) I didn't manage to get tomorrow's lottery numbers but I did manage to snag this news item from May 2008...

Pogo Bounce for Madeleine
Increasingly desperate to keep a jaded and disinterested press reporting on the now all but abandoned search for their missing daughter Gerry and Kate McCann today waved off 30 bewildered and confused children on the first leg of the Praia da Luz, Portugal to London, England pogo stick hop.

"We are determined to pully any stupid, fuckwitted stunt out of our arses to keep our story in the news," Gerry McCann, father of the missing child, said today. Although doctors have advised the couple that they expect at least half of the participants to expire from exhaustion before they reach the Spanish border the McCanns were reported as saying "We are sure that this is what Madeleine would have wanted. Anyway a few dead sprogs might get our story a bit higher to the top of the BBC News webpage, well at least above Chris Tarrant throwing a spoon and a fucking exploding snake. for christ's sake!"

As the children bounced off into the distance Mrs McCann added "We are convinced, despite all evidence to the contrary, that out little girl will be found safe and well; we also believe that the moon is made of cheese, Elvis is alive and that my next child will be the result of immaculate conception. After all, we are catholics and as such used to believing in anything, no matter how brain-dead a notion it might be."

Deflecting criticism of the controversy surrounding the fund set up to aid the search for the child they lost whilst getting rat-arsed in a tapas bar in the town, the McCanns added "It is essential that we have as much money as possible to help us in the search for Madeleine. The forty room seafront mansion we bought is an absolute requirement to house the team of masseurs, personal trainers and media consultants who have kindly offered their services to aid us. Also we need the Gulfstream V to be able to get us to press conferences anywhere in the world at a moments notice."

"We know that most of the money came from little old ladies who were subsequently not able to heat their homes last winter but we are sure that as they gasped their last breath collapsed on the floors of their freezing houses that they were comforted by the fact that they were helping to find our little angel."
